Successfully complete the game to unlock the Hard difficulty setting, the "Secret Room" option, and the alternate dog, Texas Girl, and Illegal In Some States costumes. The "Secret Room" is where you can view movies, change costumes, and play the mini-game. Successfully complete the game on the Hard difficulty setting to unlock the frog and stuffed dog costumes.

To unlock a secret mini-game, you must first successfully complete the game. Then, go to the main menu and select the "Secret Room" option. After the game loads, you will be in the bedroom where Finoa changes her costume at the beginning. Go to the door next to the fireplace. Once there you play as Hewie and must guide and protect Finoa to the place that she must reach.

To get special weapons for Finoa, you must first successfully complete the game. Then, start a new game on either Hard mode or Regular mode. After the opening sequence and the movie clip where Finoa gets changed, go to the dresser. Change into either the "Texas Girl" or "Illegal In Some States" costume. Press Square to kick. With the "Texas Girl" costume, Finoa will fire a gun (which can be good against the enemies from a far distance). With the "Illegal In Some States" costume, Finoa will attack with a whip.

For the enemies to have new costumes, you must first successfully complete the game. Then, start a new game on Hard mode. When you start, you will see that the Maid's outfit is now red instead of blue, and the monster that chases you at the beginning has a black outfit instead of a white shirt and blue jeans.

Look at box that holds the game (it has Fiona Belli, and Hewie and Fiona has her blue eyes on the front). On the back of the box is a background of a black and white door. That is the door where you need to get through in one of the first chapters to get to the Boss fight with Debilitas. Behind the door is a chapel; the room you are in is the room of darkness. To get to the door and to the Boss fight, you will need Hewie. Send him to "go" and he will lead the way through the room. If you do not send Hewie to "go" and you walk anywhere in the room, you will probably die in there. As soon as you get to the other side of the room, the scene on back of the box that holds the game will appear, with the exact same door.
